When this set arrived, the box was in rough shape. The tape was ripped, the flaps were open, and it looked like it had been through a lot during shipping. Because of that, I expected the boards to be heavily damaged. There was also no protective padding or cushioning inside the box, which made me even more certain something would be broken. After inspecting everything, there was damage, but not as bad as I thought it would be. One of the three boards has two parallel cracks at the top. They seem surface‑level and not very long, but they are still noticeable. Another board has a chip taken out of one of the painted circles, and because it’s painted wood rather than natural wood, the chip stands out more.Aside from the shipping issues, the boards themselves are great. The activities are interactive and offer a lot of variety for fine motor development. The colors are vibrant without being overwhelming, and the animals are cute and detailed without crossing into anything that might look odd or creepy. The maze and shape board has pieces that move smoothly but not loosely, so kids still have to intentionally grab and guide them. I haven’t hung the boards yet because I’m still deciding where to place them, but I appreciate that they come with drywall anchors. That makes them feel more secure for long‑term use, especially in a classroom or playroom where they’ll be touched often.I also love that the boards are three separate pieces. You can hang them at different heights, spread them out along a wall, or even use them as handheld toys if you don’t want to mount them. The versatility is a big plus.Overall, the product itself is well designed and engaging, but the lack of protective packaging likely contributed to the damage. I’m giving it four stars because the boards are genuinely good quality, but better packaging could have prevented the issues I experienced.
