Fun and keeps my little one moving!

My daughter is 3 yrs and 8 mos old and really enjoys this balance board. She got the hang of it pretty quickly, although she still needs a little help from me to stay balanced. She’s a pretty active kid, so I think that may have helped. Her friend, who is almost 3, tried it too but had a hard time figuring out how to balance. It’s actually really cute watching them both try it in their own way.I love that it gets them up and moving while they’re having fun. It’s been a great addition to their playtime, and my daughter keeps asking to play with it!

Great board for kids!

My 3 year old child loves it! Good for practicing their balancing, it's actually quite difficult even for an adult, so make sure to start with the easiest setting first (bring the pieces holding the cylinder to the tightest setting) and then move up from there.

High quality board that has already greatly improved my nephews balance

My nephew is just starting to get to the age where he’s getting interested about sports. I personally skateboard, longboard and snowboard so getting him into board sports is always been of interest to me. As we know, toddlers and kids don’t always have the best balance so improving his balance before he can actually start doing those types of sports is really important. This board seems like the perfect way to introduce him to it while also practising and becoming more skilled at balance which is a skill he needs for life, but also for board sports. The balance board came exactly as pictured, and it was ready to use right out of the box. It’s very simple and he took to it right away. He always loves to show us how well he can balance and he’s getting really good at it too, he’s gonna be a pro skateboard in no time! The wood itself is smooth so you don’t have worry about splinters or anything like that. It also has good grip so their feet can hold onto it so you don’t need to worry about them sliding off either. It is a more expensive item however he can use this for years to come as it won’t break easily, and it’s really gonna help him improve his balance in a notable way. The wood is also really high-quality. It’s thick and durable so you know it’s good quality wood from an actual tree and not some fake plaster cardboard stock that’s made of weird materials that are probably unsafe and you wouldn’t want your kids skin touching. I can’t wait for my nephew to be a pro skateboard and this is getting him one step closer to achieving that goal.

Great starter for kids!

Had a wonderful time on this product. Runs a little bit more slick than Indo board so play without socks.

Great product for a great activity!

I have the adult version of one of these that I purchased years ago, it is called an indo board. I will say that it is an amazing tool to work on your balance and really helps with board sports such as snowboarding. I am really excited to get my kids on this youth model. To begin the board and roller was packaged nicely, well protected for transport. The board came with a cork roller that feels like good quality. The board has three different settings that you can set the roller stops to. I recommend checking the tightness of the bolts if you are planning on leaving it on the setting it is shipped in. One thing that could be improved is that the top side of the board is strictly smooth plywood. Either grip tape or a textured finish that is clear coated should have been used to offer more grip for the user. Other than this it appears to be a well made quality product that I’m sure the kids will use for years to come.

Actually a decent core workout for adults too

I initially got this wooden board for my seven year old son to burn off energy indoors. It hold up to 400 pounds so I decided to stand on it while watching television last night. The cork roller is super smooth on our living room rug. I really like that you can move the little wood strips on the bottom to change the difficulty level as you get better at balancing. My legs was actually sore this morning from using all those stabilizer muscles. The box it came in even turns into a little storage rack which is a clever way to keep the playroom tidy. Solid piece of gear.

Sturdy board, fun for all

Pros:- Really solid build quality on both the wooden board and the cork roller. The board feels sturdy underfoot with no flex, the edges are smooth, and the roller has just a bit of give so it grips the floor instead of scooting around.- The adjustable levels on the underside are a smart idea. You can start kids on the shortest travel so they mostly just “wobble” and then move the stoppers out as they get more confident, or pull them off completely when older kids and adults want more of a challenge.- Nice little detail that the box converts into a holder for the board and roller. It helps keep the pieces together and gives kids a spot to stash it instead of leaving it in the middle of the floor.Cons:- None to report for now.Current title: ComfyBumpy Balance Board for Kids with Cork Roller, 30" x 12" Wooden Balance Board, 4 Adjustable Levels, 400 lb Capacity, Progressive Balance Trainer for Kids, Parents & Family Play

A progressive balance board for both kids and adults!

Children love this balance board. It can be a real challenge when beginning, but they improve their skills quickly. It can hold up to 400 pounds so adults can use it too. You use it barefoot for best control and grip. I love that you are able to progress your skill level by moving the wood strips on the bottom. This works on your core strength, balance and coordination. The movement is smooth with the cork roller. This is gentle on floors though should be used with a mat. I love that the box even converts into a deck holder. This board is excellent quality. Kids love to decorate it with stickers and make it their own too.

Maximum weight capacity is 198 lbs.

The product name description says it supports 400 lbs. However, the product user manual indicates the maximum capacity is 198 lbs. Misleading information.

Fun Balance Board with Family Appeal

This balance board is a hit in our house. The cork roller adds a new level of challenge that keeps the kids engaged, and the fact that it has four adjustable levels makes it easy for them to grow their skills. We love how it supports up to 400 pounds, so even the adults can join in. It's surprisingly sturdy and feels solid underfoot. The wood is nice and smooth, which is a plus. The packaging turning into a storage holder is a clever touch—keeps everything tidy and gives the kids another activity. One minor downside: the size might be a little big for smaller spaces, but honestly, it's worth the room it takes up. Perfect for encouraging movement and play together. Definitely not just another toy to collect dust.

High Value Wood Balance Board

The wooden board feels solid, and the cork roller glides smoothly while providing a good balance challenge. I like that it has four adjustable difficulty levels, so it can grow with a child's confidence or be made more challenging for older kids and adults. The 400 lb weight capacity is a nice feature because it means parents can use it too lolol. It’s fun for working on balance and coordination, but it also makes a great indoor activity when you want something a little different from the usual toys.Overall, it’s a high-quality balance board that offers plenty of versatility and can be enjoyed by both kids and adults, making it a great addition to a playroom or family space.

Awesome balance board

I have a very active and athletic niece I got this for. This board is awesome in so many different ways. Use of the device requires adult supervision of course. Kept my niece busy for a long time as she practiced her balance skills. Was both challenging and fun. Will probably help her skateboarding, snowboarding skills. The build quality is nice. The board is made of wood and the roller is cork. You can adjust the board to change the difficulty. Will likely last a long time. I also tried the board myself and it was quite challenge and did not feel like it would flex under my weight. Overall an excellent toy for the adventurous kid.

Fun for all ages & a great workout for adults!

This is such a simple yet fantastic activity! I ordered it for my three year old, but I opened it while they were asleep and couldn’t resists trying it myself lol. As a 30yo 120lb human, the board held up great, but this was a challenge for me! More than I care to admit lol. It doesn’t take too long to get at it but I was surprised by how difficult I found it at first considering I have pretty decent balance. It’s essentially a wooden board with three levels where you put a little piece of wood to change the distance it can roll on the cork roller. So you basically have easy, medium, hard, and expert by altering how far the brackets are, or removing them altogether. I put them on the easy setting and I can feel it in my adductors for sure lol. It was genuinely a fantastic workout though and I’m looking forward to using it more on the more difficult settings and adding stuff like squats and poses on it as I get better. I can already my kiddo and all their friends are going to love it!! It’s definitely a fun for all ages toy and I love how open ended it is since we’re screen free. Very nice quality, no rough spots, the brackets are very secure, and like I said I used it as an adult and I feel like two of me could be on there no problem., it’s very strong. The cork roller is also really nice! Solid, smooth, the slightest cushion which grips the floor and bakes ever so slightly so there’s no sliding around. If you have the angles of the roller and the board off (trying to make this make sense in words but if the roller is straight like this | and you put the board on it a bit angled like this / )I feel like it might wiggle down a bit eventually, but it would be a slow process and it’s very easy to see visually so I don’t think that would be a real issue. The roller is also a bit longer than the board so you have some margin for error. Great toy, very versatile and excellent quality! I would recommend using it on a rug/carlet/mat or sorts, even a blanket or towel on the floor. Also start near a wall or holding someone hands lol

Fun for the Whole Family!

This balance board has been a huge hit in our house! My daughter loves it and couldn’t wait to try it. It only took a few minutes for her to get the hang of it, and now she plays on it every day. What I really like is that it’s not just for kids—I can use it too! It’s a surprisingly good workout for balance and core strength. After a few minutes, you can really feel your abdominal muscles and stabilizer muscles working.Fun, easy to use, well made, and great exercise at the same time. Definitely worth the purchase!

Offers a fun balancing challenge

This is a well made balance board, consisting of a smooth, rounded piece of good quality plywood and a solid cork cylinder for rolling on. On the bottom are three (okay, technically six) sets of threaded spots for moving around the little bumpers if you want to adjust how far the board can roll. Or you can just remove it entirely once you get good at it.The listing itself mentions 400 pound capacity but there is a big sticker on the bottom of the board stating it's for use for up to 198lbs. I can attest, at around 240 pounds it felt like the board was flexing a bit much or maybe the cork was squishing a bit more. I dunno, but the lower weight rating feels accurate and I would in no way trust putting 400 pounds on here. I actually don't know how you would do that anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter. We tried it across a range of kid sizes and ages and everyone had a good time. The younger and smaller the kids, the easier time they seemed to have balancing overall, but I think that's just due to a lower center of gravity. Even our teens had fun on it, and with a bit of practice went from bumping all the way back and forth to gently swaying in the middle. It offers a fun way to practice balancing and is well made. Other than the obviously incorrect weight rating there were a few rough spots along the sides of the board, which don't affect its performance at all but did seem a bit out of place for something at this price point.

Well built, solid, probably dangerous for kids with sub-par balancing

I got this because I figured it would be a good way for my kid to burn off some excess energy. It's a very solid feeling piece of wood with 2 stoppers that bolt in to pre-determined portions into metal threads. Everything is well built and thought out, and the wood itself is sanded smooth, but not slippery. There's no area where I felt splinters were a risk. the cork roller is very solid; it's dense as far as cork goes, and doesn't have any give (for cork) when pressure is applied. Overall, it's pretty much just an excellent balance board. That being said, I tried it with my kid and... well, they have the same ability to balance that I do; essentially none. After several attempts of nearly faceplanting with one attempt somehow resulting in the cork roller flying in the air, we decided that it would be best for them to start holding the back of a chair, while someone sits in the chair, while they figure it out.

Great balance board

I've been using this wooden balance board with my kids to help them burn off some energy indoors, and it has been a big hit in our living room. I love using this because it supports up to 400 pounds, meaning I can jump on it myself to show the kids how to steady themselves. It's great at helping them build coordination, especially with the four adjustable difficulty levels that let us start slow. I really like using this cork roller since it rolls smoothly on our area rug without sliding out of control too easily. The wooden deck feels very solid and spacious, giving my kids plenty of room to find a comfortable stance. I love that it comes with clever packaging that actually turns into a storage holder, keeping the play space neat. It is a simple way to keep the family moving on rainy days when we are stuck inside the house. I would highly recommend this for any parents looking for a durable, engaging way to encourage active play for kids of all ages.

Very satisfied with this balance board

My 6-year-old niece won’t stop playing with this balance board! I bought it because she had already gotten bored with the usual kids’ rocker/swing-style balance boards, but adult roller boards were way too hard for her. When I saw that this one was designed for kids, I knew I had to try it.It’s challenging, but not so hard that she gives up — just the right amount of difficulty. Because it isn’t too easy, she keeps going back to it again and again, trying to stay on for a few more seconds each time. It’s been a great way to keep her active, focused, and entertained.Bonus: even though it’s made with kids in mind, it holds up to 400 lbs, so most adults can use it too. It’s actually fun for the whole family!

Great for Active Toddlers and Developing Balance

I bought this balance board for my 3-year-old son, who recently started tennis, and it’s been a fantastic addition to our home. The board arrived well-packaged, feels sturdy, and was very easy to set up. The wooden construction is solid, and the cork roller is quiet enough to use indoors without damaging our floors. What surprised me most was how quickly my son took to it. Within minutes he was balancing, squatting, and even rolling toy cars across the board while trying to stay steady. It has become a fun way to work on balance, coordination, body awareness, and core strength without it feeling like “training.”As a parent interested in helping him develop athletic skills for tennis and other sports, I like that this encourages stability, weight transfer, and confidence with movement. It’s challenging enough to keep him engaged but can be adjusted to different difficulty levels as he improves.A few things I appreciate:* High-quality wood and cork materials* Adjustable difficulty settings* Quiet and safe for indoor use* Encourages active play away from screens* Great for balance, coordination, and core developmentOverall, this has been one of the better activity purchases we’ve made. If you have an energetic toddler or young child involved in sports like tennis, soccer, gymnastics, or skiing, this is a fun and engaging way to build foundational balance skills at home.Highly recommended.
